Tagging Tips
Need Some Help?
- Please note, your consignor homepage is where you do everything associated with the sale once you have registered.
- To enter items, log into your consignor homepage and choose 'Work with Consigned Inventory' under the Menu button.
- Sort the items you need to tag by category and size before you begin. This will make entering your items much quicker because sale manager will keep your previous category and size in those fields. This also pertains to the discount/donate options.
- Choosing 'Discount' will change your item to half price on Saturday afternoon, 12-3.
- Tags can be taped onto books and other hard objects, but do not tape over the barcode!
- If you edit information about an item (price, size, discount, etc.) you MUST reprint the tag so the correct information is in the sale system.
- Enter a good description in case your tag is separated from the item. Feel free to add details such as: like new, NWT, etc. A good rule of thumb is to put the brand of item on the first line and description (such as: green tunic, NWT) on the second line
- Children's clothing sizes are by number. Ex: Newborn, 0-3 months, 3T, etc.
- Women's clothing sizes are by letter. Ex: XS, M, L, etc. View our Sizing PDF for conversions.
- Women's jean sizes are by number. Ex: 5, 22, etc. View our Sizing PDF for conversions.
- Please convert clothing with European sizing into the equivalent American size. View our European Conversion PDF for help.
- If a clothing tag lists a size such as 8/10, or 6-12 months, choose the smaller of the sizes.
- If you choose to enter a different size than what the tag lists, please give a reason. Ex: runs small, shrunk, etc.
- If you have a small men's item that would fit a preteen boy, enter the item as a boys' XL
